We design our equipment to be used hard and to last. Combat sports equipment is subject to impact, repetition, and wear by nature. When something isn’t right, we deal with it fairly, clearly, and in line with UK consumer law.
Returns (Change of Mind)
If you change your mind, you may return unused items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, returned with intact packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items intended for close contact or hygiene-sensitive use cannot be returned once used, even within the return period, unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. All returns are inspected on receipt before any refund is issued. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Manufacturing Defects
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as the issue becomes apparent. A manufacturing defect refers to a fault present at the time of manufacture.
- Defects in materials
- Defects in construction or stitching
Manufacturing defects do not include:
- Normal wear and tear from training or sparring
- Compression, creasing, or softening of padding/materials through use
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, impact beyond intended use, or improper care
- Cosmetic changes such as scuffing, creasing, or colour change through regular use
Our equipment is designed to age through training. Visible wear alone does not indicate a defect. Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund, depending on availability and circumstances, in line with your statutory rights.
Extended Returns (Registered Products)
Customers who register their product and create an Animal Athletics account receive an extended 90-day change-of-mind return period, subject to the same conditions as standard returns.

The same hygiene and safety rules apply during the extended period. Used hygiene-sensitive items cannot be returned unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed. During the extended return period, we may offer a refund or exchange, depending on stock availability and the nature of the request.
Product registration is optional and includes email updates. You may unsubscribe at any time. The extended return period is a goodwill benefit and does not replace or limit your statutory consumer rights.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty on arrival or incorrect, please contact us promptly with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs where applicable. If confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or refund and cover any reasonable return postage costs.
